At Collectively, we aim to connect the dots in the business, university, non-profit, and NIL collective spaces to build stronger communities. We operate as a consultancy studio specializing in brand engagement and sales dealing with fundraising and donation campaign management, all aimed at enhancing fundraising initiatives and maximizing donor impacts. As we look to continue to expand our services nationwide, we are looking for the right person, who loves building relationships and creating opportunities.

As a Business Development Consultant, you will work directly with Collectively USA leadership, in an effort to develop and nurture new business. This individual will support third-party relationships and deliver partnerships that generate material revenue, including new business acquisitions. This is a consultancy position, with the opportunity to grow into an extended role in the future.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate directly with the Collectively leadership team in conjunction to building third-party relationships that help generate material revenue

- Help grow revenue for the organization through new business acquisitions and deals

- Assist in the development of ongoing business with new and existing clients

- Collaborate with team members to develop methods for reaching and nurturing prospective clients

- Research target markets and organizations, and contact potential clients to identify needs, new projects and opportunities

Background

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Sales, or entrepreneurial-related studies is helpful

- Experience in business development or entrepreneurial-related roles

- Hardworking “deal-maker” who has brought a number of impactful strategic deals to life from conception to execution

- Proactive do-er with an appetite for working with fast-changing, innovative pipelines

- Familiarity with standard deal structures and an ability to develop and review relatively complex documentation

- Structured and analytical thinker with the ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete plans
